The story

T.J. Siegal built this at Milk & Honey in New York in the early 2000s, essentially a whiskey version of the Bee's Knees, swapping gin for bourbon and serving it over ice instead of straight up. It has become one of the most reliable modern whiskey sours on any serious cocktail menu.
