The story
Ernest Hemingway reportedly ordered his Daiquiris doubled up and with no sugar at all, since he was managing his diabetes at the time, and a Havana bartender built him this grapefruit version instead. It's sharper and drier than a standard Daiquiri, exactly as he wanted it.
