The story

Named for the officers' club in 1920s Rangoon where it first turned up, this one would have stayed a footnote if Audrey Saunders hadn't revived it as the signature pour, and the namesake, of her Pegu Club in New York in 2002. Two kinds of bitters doing the real work is what keeps the orange and lime from running the show.
