The story
The French Antilles' standing bar order, built the same way on every island from Martinique to Guadeloupe: good rhum agricole, a little cane syrup, and a squeeze of lime peel for its oil, never its juice. Martin Cate's Smuggler's Cove in San Francisco helped teach American drinkers the unwatered version.
